Where SimpleImpose differs
- Variable data is part of the licence
- With Imposition Studio, variable data is the separate vdpXpro add-on. In SimpleImpose it is included, and it reads Excel, JSON and SQLite files as well as CSV and TSV.
- A lower entry cost
- A subscription starts at €19. The one-time editions start at $199 and add updates in tiers.

- Imposition Studio runs on Windows and macOS now. SimpleImpose publishes a Windows build only so far.

- Imposition Studio has an edition for offset workflows with CTP output and unlimited output size.
