Data we collect

- License key (UUID, linked to your Stripe customer record)
- Machine fingerprint hash (SHA-256 of OS + hostname + MAC + install UUID – not reversible to raw data)
- Last revalidation timestamp
- OS family and app version (e.g. "windows", "1.0.0")
We do not receive: file names, project contents, file paths, PDF content, or anything related to what you impose.
Stripe (payment processing)
Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We receive from Stripe: your email address, Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and invoice data. Card numbers are never transmitted to or stored by us.
Crash reporting (opt-in only)
If you opt in to crash reporting, the following is sent to our self-hosted
GlitchTip instance (glitchtip.versiontwo.sk):
- Stack trace of the crash
- OS name + version
- App version
We never collect: file paths, project names, license keys, or PDF content in crash reports.
Marketing site analytics
We use self-hosted Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-friendly, cookie-free, and GDPR-compliant. No personal data or cross-site tracking.
Legal basis
- Contract performance – license activation data is necessary to provide the service you purchased.
- Legitimate interest – crash reports (opt-in) and aggregate analytics help us improve the product.
- Consent – crash reporting requires explicit in-app opt-in.
Data retention
- License activation records: retained while the subscription is active + 30 days after cancellation.
- Crash reports: 90 days for paid users, 30 days for trial users.
- Analytics: 12-month rolling window (aggregated, no personal data).
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, and data portability. Email info@versiontwo.sk to exercise these rights. We will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).
