Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SimpleImpose software and the simpleimpose.com website, operated by Version Two s.r.o. ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using SimpleImpose you agree to these Terms.

1. Licence grant

Upon purchase of an active subscription and successful activation, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use SimpleImpose on up to the number of machines covered by your subscription (default: 2), for personal or commercial use, for the duration of the paid subscription period.

2. Trial licence

The free trial grants the same licence for 14 days (or until v1.0 release for open-beta participants). Trial output PDFs carry a watermark. One trial per machine fingerprint per major version.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
  • Remove or circumvent licence verification mechanisms.
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the software.
  • Use the software to process content you do not have rights to.

4. Subscription and payments

Subscriptions are managed through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time via your account page; your licence remains valid until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled per Stripe's refund policy; contact info@versiontwo.sk within 14 days of purchase if you experience issues.

5. Updates

Active subscribers receive all minor and patch updates (v1.x) at no extra cost. Annual subscribers receive access to v2 beta. Major version upgrades may be priced separately.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

In no event shall Version Two s.r.o. be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Slovak Republic.
