What does "2 machines" mean?: You can activate SimpleImpose on up to 2 computers, for example a work desktop and a laptop. A third activation is refused until you release one machine. Release machines in the account portal.
Does it work offline?: Imposition itself needs no connection. Activation is stored as a file that is valid for 7 days by default, and the app refreshes it in the background when it was last checked more than 24 hours ago. If the server cannot be reached and the file has expired, exports keep working for a further 14 days of grace. After that exports are refused until the key is activated again.
What happens if I cancel?: Your licence stays valid until the end of the period you paid for. You can cancel at any time in the account portal.
What does the trial limit?: Nothing in the feature set. Each page of the output carries a small line of text, "SimpleImpose trial – not for production", at the bottom edge. After 14 days the app still opens and edits projects, but exports are refused.
